Thanks! I’m very much interested in long term reliability and longevity of the cars in relation to modifications.

I'm thinking very hard and smartly about next car choices.

Seems to be holding up well for him. And I’m loving it on those Volk’s. Such a good looking combination.

I’m actually hoping to buy one this year.

Waiting for a used premium manual to show up. I’m not against buying new, but a new ecoboost premium lists at $31k, and that’s too much. Used would be fine, or if Ford does some 0% financing and other incentive deal I’d jump new.

A lightly used one would be about perfect. With a few mods they really are pretty awesome cars.

I’m a bit surprised you’re not waiting for the 2.0T Camaro.

It’s still a consideration, but no one has actually gotten their hands on one as far as I know, so I’m not exactly hopeful. It doesn’t feel like Chevy really cares it exists. For the same money a used Mustang has a bit more stuff (heated seats, leather) and makes more power. Despite being heavier the Mustang still edges the Camaro in power to weight.

That’s the conclusion I’m coming to. It’s just hard to find Ecoboost Premium, new or used. A used ecoboost with a tune, intake, exhaust, sticky tires, and maybe some suspension work seems like it would be a fantastic car without being hideously impractical.

Well that and the fact that its below the V6, so its probably going to be your base model. I’d take the Mustang.

Yup. Backseat is cramped for an adult on a long trip, but in a pinch it’d be fine. They ride nice and are fun to drive.

Well no ones gotten their hands on one yet because they aren’t in production yet. Word on Camaro6 is that they won’t be in production until later this month. I wouldn’t expect reviews or any words on it until March-April.
